In 1995 began the reconstruction of the Temple of Christ the Savior that was a memorial to the military glory of Russian people that vanquished the French army in patriotic war of 1812. The Temple was founded in 10 September 1839 and sanctified in the day of coronation of Emperor Alexander III on all-Russian throne by Metropolitan Ioannikiy 26 May 1883 and blew up in 5 December 1931. Enormous explosions turned work of Russian art and monument to the heroic Russian people to crushed stone and carcass.
