«You've probably never seen a bowling facility like Dom Otdykha (Rest Home), a three-floor, 10-lane, Brunswick-equipped facility situated in the Maryino district of Moscow. A fountain and «bowling piaying woman» sculpture greet guests on the first floor, and stairways lead to a luxuriously furnished six-lane area on the second floor, and a Cosmic Bowling-equipped four-lane area in the basement. Through careful planning by architect Vitaly Kobzar, the relatively small quarters are able to house a billiard room, children's play area, VIP hall, pro shop, doak room, offices, a Spanish-style tapas bar and other amenities, in addition to the 10 bowling lanes. The owner is Dmitri Orlov. President of Magellan Investments Ltd., and the gorgeous sidewall murals were painted by Vladimir Bortsov, best known for his paintings inside Christ The Savior Cathedral, the center of cultural and spiritual life in Russia».
